Feliway and Adaptil

feliway_logo.jpgFeliway is a spray or diffuser used to treat unwanted behavior in cats. It is a synthetic copy of a Feline Pheromone, used by cats to mark their territory as safe and secure. It comes in a spray form, or as a diffuser. It can help prevent cats from urine marking and vertical scratching in the home. It is also helpful when changing a cats environment, such as traveling or following a disruption in a cats living space (such as a new pet, redecoration, or new baby.) We carry both products at our clinic.

adaptil.bmpFor dogs, Adaptil is made by the same company and can prevent and reduce stress-related behavior in dogs. It is made of a synthetic Canine Appeasing Pheromone. It helps dogs cope with new situations, such as during travel, during thunderstorms, settling into a new home, or going to the vet.
